What visitors add
The water
Three reviewers praise the spring quality outright. One detail-oriented reviewer reports (with self-declared uncertainty) a source temperature of about 50C and source pH of 8.1, with the nano carbonated bath at pH 4.5 (mildly acidic); another reviewer separately felt the water leans acidic. One reviewer estimates the main bath just under 43C, and another says baths range from hot to lukewarm so you can pick your temperature.
stated by 7 visitors · May 2026 – Aug 2026Outdoor bath & sauna
There is a large open-air bath area with a TV (three reviewers mention the rotenburo TV, one noting its speaker audio intrudes on quiet outdoor rest); one reviewer describes the rotenburo as big and two-tiered with a cooler lower level. The facility has many bath types: at least three reviewers list a carbonated spring (tansan-sen), pot baths (tsubo-yu), jet baths, and an electric bath (one warns the electric bath is quite strong).

The stone bath (ganbanyoku) costs extra on top of admission (two reviewers state this explicitly) and is praised by at least four reviewers; aromatic aufguss (rouryu) sessions are held there, one reviewer describing them as attraction-like fun and fine to attend solo. Talking is prohibited in the ganbanyoku area per a posted sign, and one reviewer complains people without the rented ganbanyoku wear use the area anyway.
stated by 6 visitors · May 2026 – Aug 2026Price
Pricing varies by day per one reviewer, with discounted morning-bath admission (one reviewer paid 870 yen for the morning bath; another confirms a morning discount exists). One reviewer calls admission slightly cheaper than other onsen nearby, and another notes multi-visit ticket books are periodically sold at half price. The ganbanyoku is a separate charge.
stated by 5 visitors · May 2026 – Aug 2026Outdoor bath & sauna
There are two saunas: a steam sauna (herbal, feet in a shallow pool while steam envelops you) in the open-air area and a regular 'stadium' sauna indoors with scheduled aufguss (nekki/rouryu) sessions — described consistently by four reviewers. One reviewer measured the sauna at about 90C with a cold plunge just under 20C and about 8 outdoor rest chairs. A separate paid stone-sauna (ganbanyoku) area also runs aufguss sessions, sometimes unannounced.
stated by 5 visitors · May 2026 – Aug 2026Day-use visits
Open late — until 1:00 a.m. (25:00) per one reviewer — and open from 6 a.m. on weekends/Monday: one reviewer says Sat/Sun/Mon open at 6 a.m. and other days at 9 a.m. with morning-bath pricing if you enter before around noon; a second reviewer corroborates morning bathing from 6 a.m. (on weekends/holidays and Monday, by their recollection) with the restaurant from 6:30 a.m. There is no time limit on visits per one reviewer.
