The water is from the Yubatake source: one reviewer gives the full classification (acidic, sulfur-bearing aluminium sulfate-chloride spring, hydrogen-sulfide type, hypotonic acidic high-temperature spring), a second calls it an acidic sulfur spring, a third says it is the same sulfur water as the Yubatake, and a fourth describes it as hard, sour and salty. One reviewer notes surprisingly little sulfur smell and another says the water is colorless and transparent.
