What visitors add
The water
Five reviewers describe the water as slippery/skin-smoothing (nurutto/subesube/torotto). Characterization varies: one calls it a simple spring (tanjunsen), one detected a proper sulfur smell, one loves a faint oil smell and repeats hearsay that the source is 'Japan's best baking-soda spring', and one says the water has no distinctive character. It warms well per two reviewers.
stated by 9 visitors · Aug 2019 – Mar 2025Outdoor bath & sauna
There are exactly two tubs — a large indoor bath and a small open-air bath (five reviewers describe the rotenburo as small, fitting only a few people). There is NO sauna (three reviewers state this explicitly) and NO rest area for day-use bathers (three reviewers). The view is the highlight: at least five reviewers praise the panorama of Mt. Myogi and the golf course from the bath/rotenburo.
stated by 9 visitors · Sep 2019 – Aug 2026Day-use visits
Day-use bathing is welcomed at this golf-course hotel bath (basement level of the Myogi Green Hotel), confirmed by at least four reviewers. No opening hours appear in reviews. Crowding varies: two reviewers found it near-empty (one had the bath to themselves on a weekday), while one weekend-evening visitor found it full of hotel families with children and another saw decent weekday traffic.
stated by 5 visitors · Oct 2022 – Apr 2026Price
Adult admission is 800 yen (three reviewers, 2024-2025; one adds children 600 yen and towel rental 300 yen on a weekend). The price rose over time: a 2022 reviewer paid 720 yen base. The JAF member discount (once 720→410 yen, later 500 yen) was DISCONTINUED: one reviewer says it ended in October of the prior year and was replaced by an 11-ticket coupon book, and another (December 2024) was told no such discount is offered.
stated by 5 visitors · Apr 2022 – Mar 2025Water handling
Not kakenagashi: the water is diluted, heated, recirculated, and chlorinated — stated by three reviewers (one notes the source temperature is low so the water is heated). Chlorine intensity reports vary by date: one 2023 visitor found it strong on a first visit but much reduced on a second; a 2022 reviewer found the chlorine unobjectionable; the most recent report (August 2026) calls the chlorine smell harsh in the rotenburo.
stated by 5 visitors · Jan 2020 – Aug 2026Towels, soap & lockers
Towel rental costs 300 yen per one reviewer (March 2025). The washing area has roughly 10-15 shower stations (one reviewer counted about 10, another about 15 in a U-shape), but one July 2026 reviewer reports many showers broken.
